Pool Filter

A pool filter is required for anyone that owns a swimming pool. A filter is designed to remove debris from the pool water. There are many different types of filter currently available.

Using a natural sedimentary rock, a Diatomaceous Earth filter is an effective way to clean your pool. When this rock is crushed to a fine powder, it is capable of removing the smallest of particles from your water. They are also very common and can be purchased through most pool supply retailers.

A simple cartridge style fuel pump can be used for those with smaller swimming pools. This type of filter is perfectly adequate for removing small particles from your pool water. They are not quite as effective as the Diatomaceous Earth variety, but are still a commonly used filter.
