Pool Pump
A pool pump should be rated for a larger capacity than what is actually needed. Buying a larger pump ensures that the pump will probably never be overworked and will therefore last longer. This means that you will end up replacing the pump less frequently.
The most common use for a pool pump is within the filtration system. The pump is used to pull water through the filter and then pushing it back into the pool. It is important to use a high quality pump for this application, as they are often running 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Solar water heating systems often use a pool pump as well. The pump drives water through a series of solar panels which use the energy from the sun to heat the water. These systems are extremely economical and are much more environmentally friendly.
