Pool Vacuum
A pool vacuum is basically the same as a regular vacuum cleaner, except designed to work underwater. They are used to clean algae and bacteria from the bottom and sides of a swimming pool. They are usually available in both automatic and manual styles.
Most pool owners tend to prefer the automatic style of pool vacuum. This is largely a matter of convenience, as these systems are typically more expensive than the manual variety. However, manual vacuums generally perform better.
It is not uncommon for a pool vacuum to have some sort of rotating brush, much like a normal vacuum cleaner. These brushes are very effective at helping to remove contaminants from the pool’s surface areas. When used regularly, they are the best and easiest way to maintain a healthy swimming pool.
